Affiliate Partner Feature

There is nothing I love more than seeing and hearing from our clients and customers images of our products in your homes, or your family enjoying our designs, post reno. One of the best parts about our Affiliate Partner Program is that our Partners showcase our products in ways that help you more effortlessly style your home.

Our Affiliate Partners help share our products with you and encourage and inspire you to enjoy a more authentic way of life at home through our products. We wouldn't be who we are without them! So, today I'm featuring one of our Affiliate Partners and her super easy and simple Holiday Stovetop Potpourri Recipe. But first, a quick intro!

Meet Kaitlyn Chida from @_desertcottage_, one of our Affiliate Partners.  She and her husband work together to bring their client spaces to life through interior styling and design. Her and her husband are the hands on type and do all the work themselves (unless it requires a bit more technical experience like electrical or painting work). Kaitlyn exudes authenticity and a more casual and relaxed approach to home, and that is why we love when she shares our products in her designs!

She recently completed this Primary Bathroom design for a client and we loved seeing our Whitewashed Terracotta Planter! It's the perfect fit for the rich black tones she used in this space (be sure to grab one while you can from our Warehouse Sale).

What You'll Need:
1 Oranges
4-6 Bay Leaves

1 Tablespoon of Whole Cloves

2-3 Cinnamon Sticks

1 Cup Whole Cranberries

This recipe is one of my favorites not only for the nostalgic aroma but because you can customize not only how much you want to make, but how strong or how subtle you want the fragrance to be!

Simply fill a small to medium size pot halfway with water (4-6 cups). Then slice the oranges and add them to the pot along with the cranberries, cloves, cinnamon sticks and bay leaves. Place the pot onto the stovetop and turn on very low heat for a slow simmer, do not boil! Throughout the day be sure to keep an eye on the water level- you don't want the water to evaporate and burn the ingredients! If the water level is getting low, just add another cup or two of water until the pot is filled halfway again.

The inviting and cozy smell will be sure to fill your home with the scent of the holidays!

Remember, if you want a stronger scent, just add more cloves and cinnamon sticks! Enjoy!
