This natural woven basket is hand-crafted by Batonga women in rural Zambia. The shape and size of these baskets allow you to easily style it in your home. Simply, hang it on the wall for a textural statement piece, or turn it on its side to add dimension on your shelving. You can even use it as a statement centerpiece on your table.

 

Details

Each piece can take several days to make and is meticulously woven from abundant natural fibers like palm leaves, wild twigs and creeping vines. Rich, earthy pigments are added with natural dyes made from bark and leaves.

- Wipe clean with a semi damp cloth, let dry completely. Avoid cleaners and/or chemicals.
